JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary/Objective
This position requires performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes for passenger rail car parts in a manual manufacturing assembly line environment. The candidate works in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities, as well as LDM. Uses pneumatic tools, basic hand tools, and power tools (motorized drill, rivet gun, etc.). The candidate is required to perform versatile duties and is able to organize the areas around their own workplace in a self-sufficient manner, within the product group.

Essential Functions
- Manufactures quality parts, following specific work instructions
- Provides verbal and written status of manufacturing progress
- Applies and handles sealants and adhesives
- Performs acceptance test procedures utilizing specific test equipment
- May train others in manufacturing methods.
- Keeps assigned areas organized and clean per set principles
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
- Understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
- Understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
- Understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.
