The Knott's Berry Farm Workforce Management team is seeking to add a talented, analytical thinker who thrives in fun and fast-paced environments to their Seasonal Team! As a workforce management analyst, you will serve as a key contributor by providing data-driven reports and tools that will provide leadership with the insight to make effective decisions impacting guest and team member experience. You will work with cross-functional partners to ensure we are delivering an optimal experience to our guests while also maintaining a fun, considerate and equitable experience for our team members. Seasonal Position
Responsibilities:
Provide regular labor reporting metrics to park divisions and help to monitor productivity of labor
Analyze historical trends and future projections to help guide staffing plans and forecasting
Perform labor analyses for various park operations, including: Rides, Food & Beverage, Retail, Aquatics, Hotel, Park Services, & More
Innovate, identify, and standardize best practices for Workforce Optimization
Utilize software to guide park divisions in complying with regulatory and company policies related to work rules
Connect with Leadership in various park divisions to partner with them through labor analysis/adjustments
Qualifications:
3-5 years professional experience performing data analytics that influence business decision making, preferably in workforce management, planning and analysis for an operations function. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field (finance, economics, business) or equivalent experience. Very strong analytical skills – extensive experience with advanced Excel analytic functions. Creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills – able to delve into business issues and large amounts of data to form insights and recommendations. Relentless attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high quality work. Comfortable managing multiple projects with a high degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced setting. Results oriented – strong sense of urgency and excellent follow through. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Workforce Management Systems is a plus. Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
