Description
A Project Manager has an analytical mind and great organization skills. By joining KO Construction you’ll manage relationships with key stakeholders and create benchmarks for successful deliverables. You’ll plan work assignments that meet deadline requirements within the forecasted budget. You’ll think ahead – troubleshooting issues before and as they arise throughout the construction and development process. You will be working through organizational processes relating to document management, coordinating interdepartmental communications, and will own and drive your projects through to completion. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience

A Day in the Life
- Provide full project oversite for new construction projects and facility expansion activities
- Source, manage, and provide quality control of subcontractors for all work pertinent to construction projects including, but not limited to:
- Preliminary planning and budgeting
- Civil / Site Design
- Survey work
- Site prep, earthwork, and excavation
- Concrete, electrical and fencing
- Pre-engineered building deliveries and Field Crew
- Permitting, zoning, land disturbance and variances
- Provide document management services and creation of files for internal communication, permits issued and standard operating procedures
- Review civil, structural, and storm water management plans
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Direct on-site activity: materials staging, site management and access
- Work closely with jobsite personnel to ensure project milestones and other requirements are clear and documented
- Oversee the invoicing of assigned projects; manage construction draws as necessary
- Provide transparent and proactive communication through all stages of the project

- Construction Management (1 year)

- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
- An Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in one of the following or related areas: Construction Management, Real Estate, and Urban Planning
- Driver's License (Required)
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Some travel required
