Facilities Supervisor:

General Duties:

• Working with Facilities Manager in Overseeing facilities/wastewater operations
• Forklift management for operation of the forklift running condition. (PM’s and repairs)
• Crane management for operation of the cranes running condition. (PM’s and repairs)
• Air compressors management for operation of the air compressors running condition. (PM’s and repairs).
• Boilers management for operation of the boilers running condition. (PM’s and repairs)
• Scrubbers management for operation of the scrubbers running condition. (PM’s and repairs)
• HVAC systems management for operation of the HVAC systems running condition. (PM’s and repairs)
• Push/Pull fans management for operation of the push/pull fans running condition. (PM’s and repairs)
• Maintaining the grounds around the facility. (mowing and landscaping)
• Janitorial Services (manpower and supplies)
• Fire Systems – Oversee the operation and repair of the fire wet and dry sprinkler system
• Break Room Equipment – Oversee the working condition of KAAP owned equipment
• Production Floor Scrubber – maintain the floor scrubber and supply manpower for operation.
• Plant Building Repairs (roof, HVAC unis, doors (man and overhead), etc…)
• As level II supervisor has the authority for personnel actions and oversees most day to day operations of the department.

• Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment
• Familiar with production equipment
• Ability to oversee and lead employees in day to day activities
• Ability to oversee contractors

Requirements:

• Leadership abilities and experience
• May require a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of at least 2 years college and 5 years work experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with Machine Repair required
• Experience with heavy equipment, industrial, maintenance or automotive repair preferred
• Willingness to learn and work to be the best of his/her abilities as well to help the Kobe Maintenance Team to grow from your experience.
• Experience leading a group of people in a manufacturing and/or shop environment a plus.
• Must be acceptable to change
