Guardian Industries is looking for a Corporate Communication Specialist to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI!
This exciting role will work with all areas of the company to help leverage and communicate performance excellence within each business unit. The successful candidate will help us better understand internal and external customers and help us continually improve our corporate communication offering in pursuit of our company vision.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Support leadership communications for Guardian Glass and SRG Global in the Americas region
- Develop communication plans, provide a strategic overview for all communication efforts and act as a trusted advisor, utilizing a data-driven approach
- Partner around major transformation efforts across the business, from communication plan development to tactical implementation
- Lead and own capability/department communication across Guardian Industries
- Support Public Relations initiatives including ownership of internal/external messaging and act as a media contact
- Write and edit stories in multiple media formats to share with both internal and external audiences including blog posts, measurement reports, media releases, scripts and presentations
- Develop cohesive narratives and compelling stories that help internal/external audiences connect what we’re doing as a company to our vision, culture, Guiding Principles and business strategies
- Assist the Head of Corporate Communication with day-to-day corporate communications activities and ongoing projects
- Act as the point of contact for your stakeholders to manage Intranet content, and organize/publish specific site pages, based on dedicated communication plans

Requirements:
- Experience messaging and conveying data into actionable insights with clarity and visual appeal
- Experience managing and executing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience using digital applications, social media channels, and employee engagement tools
- Experience using Microsoft Office to create PowerPoint presentations and surveys
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint to create pages and publish news
