Our Memphis, TN facility is looking for an E&I Maintenance Technician to add to it's growing team.
Our Team
Our E&I Technicians are required to be current holders of a Shelby County TN Journeyman Electrical license or to attain one within 1 year of hire date. They must attain all GP N10 qualifications within 18 months of hire date. They must be available to work overtime and call-ins to meet the needs of the business. The starting pay for this role is $33.63/hr. This position also includes a $1,000 sign on bonus ! This position works a day shift Monday - Friday schedule from 6:30am - 3pm . Schedule is subject to change after 1 year of employment per the needs of the site.

What You Will Do
- DCS, PLC, HMI troubleshooting, repair, replacement and new install
- Repair, replacement and new installs on conduit, wire, electrical equipment, motors, electrical circuits, AC & DC VSD, etc.
- Operating, troubleshooting, calibration, replacement and new installs on: Instrumentation, control valves, MCC starters, electrical distribution switchgears (breaker replacement & PMs)
- Infrared scanning of energized equipment
- Controls Communication Networks troubleshooting, repair and replacement
- Support daily activities and projects, i.e.: planned/scheduled E&I work and production response and maintenance of all E&I documentation using various computer systems
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Successful completion of an electrical apprenticeship program such as that sponsored by the NECA and IBEW
- Experience working as a Journeyman Electrician after completion of aforementioned apprenticeship
- Experience operating mobile equipment: Forklift, Manlift, Utility Carts, etc.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience as a Journeyman Electrician and Instrumentation Technician in a pulp and paper mill
- Experience with 1000-5000 kva liquid filled power transformers
- Experience using and configuring Honeywell DCS systems or Modicon and Allen Bradley PLCs
- Experience with DCS and PLC integration and HMIs
- Experience assembling and calibrating Neles Jamesbury, Fisher, Durco, etc., (control valves)
- Experience with instrumentation, eg; Transmitters - Pressure, Temperature, pH, Conductivity, ORP, Flow, Consistency, Brightness, Turbitity, Solids, etc.
- Experience using maintenance-related software.: Proworx32, RSLogix5000, etc.
