Guardian Glass is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Geneva, NY!

What You Will Do In Your Role
- Identify, justify, and lead projects that create the maximum efficiency and profitability in our operations
- Collaborate daily with the plant operations team and work as one team to deliver on project goals and timelines
- Identify the best available technology in the industry that could benefit our operations
- Build and share knowledge of available technologies with the operations team
- Execute capital projects including upgrades to plant systems, process equipment, and scalable transformation priorities
- Execute projects that support continuous improvement, equipment obsolescence, and reliability improvements
- Apply critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to strategic planning and execution
- Own the performance of the new equipment/technology until there is a mutual handoff to the operations team
- Utilize your electrical power and controls skills to support operations in a continuous process environment
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (internship or professional)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Controls Engineering OR equivalent experience
- Experience in leadership / project management
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with PLC’s, HMI’s, and process controls
- Experience with AutoCAD, E-plan, and/or other CAD packages
- Experience with power distribution, control systems, mechanical systems, P&ID, and machine design

For this role, we anticipate paying $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
