Flint Hills Resources is now hiring an Electrician to join the Pine Bend refinery team in Rosemount, MN!
Competitive Pay and Benefits Package: Starting hourly pay is $45.20 per hour with pay increases after training requirements are completed. Fully qualified Electricians at Pine Bend are compensated at $54.35 per hour with opportunities for compensation increases with additional training, knowledge, and skills.
Our Team
This important role supports production efficiency through performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical issues on the plant’s equipment and machinery. The successful candidate for this position must be a self-motivated, skilled professionals with a working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting.
The normal work schedule is 4/10’s Monday through Thursday with occasional mandatory overtime.
Work is performed outside in all types of weather and climbing ladders, stairways, vessels, towers, and pipe racks is required work. This role is subject to a pre-hire physical abilities test.
What You Will Do
- Perform routine troubleshooting of 480V and 5KV motor controls and associated motors
- Troubleshoot and repair area lighting, transformers, feeder cables, AC frequency drives, motor protection relays, electronic heat controllers, and electric heat trace systems
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License
- Valid Driver's License
What Will Put You Ahead
- Industrial work experience
- Previous experience in 5KV and 15KV switchgear
- Previous experience with 480-volt motor control centers
Physical Requirements of the Role:
- Ability to work outside in various types of weather conditions
- Climbing at heights up to 200 feet
- Ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs.
