Georgia Pacific Gypsum is looking for an Inside Sales District Lead supporting the Gypsum Inside Sales team. A District Lead is responsible for the growth and development of the Inside Sales Representatives reporting to them as well as the profitability of a geographically assigned territory. The District Lead will lead and develop their Inside Sales Representatives, leverage their comparative advantages, and advance profitable long-term strategies in their territories in conjunction with our Outside Sales Team and S&OP capability.
A District Lead will sell ToughRock and Dens products to their accounts, identify opportunities to position Georgia-Pacific Gypsum as the “preferred supplier”, profitably grow volumes and share, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. The role has significant exposure to a wide cross section of GP Gypsum capabilities, and will interact extensively with outside sales, transportation, manufacturing, and scheduling.
This is a remote, home based position with potential travel to customers, mills, corporate headquarters, etc.

What You Will Do
- Enable Inside Sales Representatives to take ownership of various customer relationships within an assigned territory
- Lead, develop, coach, evaluate, and leverage Inside Sales Representatives based off of their comparative advantages and motivations/interests
- Drive and encourage transformation within the team
- Identify ways to profitably drive customer experience. Anticipate customer needs, and leverage team to seek customer insights
- Build relationships with customer’s key decision makers for pre-defined sales territory
- Collaborate with sales teams to establish territory goals and meet/exceed objectives
- Respectfully challenge yourself and others to find innovate solutions and areas for improvement
- Identify and execute on strategies, with clear and effective communication to stakeholders
- Proactively work with internal teams to identify opportunities and provide value-based alternatives
- Understand market drivers and share position having a business owner mentality
- Prospect new accounts and generate profitable incremental business
- Monitor daily targets for your respective territory and make necessary calls to achieve set volume targets

- Establish preference in the market through best in class service without compromising the Team or GP objectives

- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of 5 inside sales team members
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Possess 3 years of experience in a sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding territory goals
- 1 years of direct people management experience with the ability to motivate and coach a team
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members
- Creative problem solving in understanding and addressing clients' needs and pain points
- Able and willing to travel 10-20% of the time including potential overnight travel
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Experience in building products/construction or other manufacturing industry
- Experience with management of staff productivity
For this role, we anticipate paying $75,000 - $95,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
