What You Will Do In Your Role
- Support the planning and implementation of safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Plans and implements safety training and practices for those working on the site.
- Educate the team on safety procedures and ensure they are being followed.
- Analyze accident reports and evaluate injury case studies based on available facts.
- Travel around jobsite ensuring those on site are adhering to safety practices and wearing appropriate PPE.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a titled Safety Professional
- OSHA 510 or equivalent certification
- Experience in OSHA 30
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel up to 95% of the time working on a jobsite
What Will Put You Ahead
- CHST, CUSP or CSP certification(s)
- Battery Energy Storage experience
- Degree in Occupational Health or Safety
