Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC is looking for a Trade Analyst to join our Commercial Finance Team in Wichita, KS. As a Trade Analyst, you will partner with the commercial teams to execute trade support functions, provide key financial reports for decision making, and be challenged as a business partner to critically think through problems & drive solutions. Trade Analysts are in a unique position to create value by being customer focused & leveraging their financial knowledge to make useful recommendations in partnering with the business. 

Position will be based in Wichita, KS, with a hybrid work environment (ability to work remote any 2 days/week).

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Calculate and report profit and loss as well as trading positions which are utilized by management and sales teams
• Understand expected positions and/or P&L and raise questions to identify and/or correct any variance
• Proactively share knowledge and communicate with sales team, analysts, and management
• Ownership of monthly financial results and analysis for your business segment
• Collaborate and share knowledge across accounting/business teams
• Develop new tools/processes that will facilitate ease and efficiency for the front & back office

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business field
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365; which includes Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation) Word and PowerPoint

What Will Put You Ahead

• A minimum of 1 year experience in an investment, analysis, finance or accounting role
• Experience in commodity-based businesses
• Experience with the mark-to-market accounting methodology
• Experience with business analysis, data visualization tools or large datasets  (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx and PowerBI)
