About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Associate to join our team at Kohl's Distribution Center. As a Loss Prevention Associate, you will play a critical role in protecting Kohl's physical, human, and property assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the protection of Kohl's physical, human, and property assets
- Monitor physical security policies and procedures of Kohl's and the Distribution Center
- Report incidents of associate theft or safety violations
- Participate in internal theft investigations in strict adherence to Kohl's policies and guidelines
- Monitor all Kohl's Department Store and Distribution Center safety policies and procedures and actively participate in the Distribution Center Safety Committee
- Perform Distribution Center Loss Prevention audits to measure accuracy
- Report production fraud or short-cuts by associates
- Monitor associates (via the floor and CCTV) to ensure compliance to processing guidelines
- Perform data entry of all audit results and assigned information
- Perform all Gatehouse operations and Gatehouse data entry
- Assist in store inquiries
- Participate in the training of newly hired Loss Prevention Associates
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and/or previous Distribution Center, Law Enforcement and/or Store Loss Prevention experience
- Certification in the use of power equipment to aid in investigations
Preferred Qualifications
- Auditing experience
- Working knowledge of software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and PeopleSoft
Special Requirements
- Must be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
