Opportunity
As part of the Innovation team, you’ll be responsible for building transformative ideas into real-word business solutions that impact Kohler Co.’s bottom line. You’ll lead the rapid discovery, exploration, and acceleration of new growth engines by leveraging a combination of customer needs, market trends, technology advancements, and Kohler Co.'s unique capabilities to develop these opportunities. Bold thinking, creativity and non-linear connections will be used to imagine new possibilities and inspire others. You’ll build evidence for business cases through rapid experimentation across customer desirability, financial viability, and opportunity feasibility.
Additionally, you’ll coach fast-paced multi-functional teams on innovation practices to build scalable business models that stay true to their core insights.
Specific Responsibilities
- Leads the rapid discovery, exploration, and acceleration of new growth engines that deliver business growth and positively impact the bottom line.
- Leads the building of evidence through iterative experimentation across customer desirability, financial viability, and opportunity feasibility.
- Coaches fast-paced multi-functional teams to build scalable business models that stay true to the core insights.
- Leads the development of business recommendations to pursue, pivot, pause, or punt on business opportunities.
- Creates organizational momentum by inspiring, educating, and rallying stakeholders and partners throughout the organization.
- Stays abreast of best practices for global innovation and shares/implements them within Kohler Co.
- Lead innovation teams and build innovation capability in team members with a solid understanding of innovation models techniques and strategies to drive creativity and problem solving.
- Work across functions with business knowledge.
- Work between both leaders and teams with a strong ability to guide and influence change. Know how to manage resistance.
- Consistently model a genuine desire to learn, sometimes by failure. Dynamic and adaptable.
