Opportunity
A short-term international role (6 – 12 months) to help with the finance integration of KLAFS.
Specific Responsibilities
- Creating load files to get the Businesses financial information into PCA and COPA (if needed) at the appropriate level.
- Setting up appropriate profit center structures for management and legal reporting.
- Review of existing business financial consolidation structure and reporting.
- Work closely with Luxury Brands & Wellness finance teams to understand and assist with management reporting requirements for monthly financial results, and partner with business on monthly forecasting inputs and loads.
- Participation in the bi-weekly finance integration calls on status and timeline deliverables.
- Assisting with posting financial load files to facilitate a timely close.
- Implementing standardized financial and operations reporting, including loading historical data in SAP and BW.
- Evaluate how to create an interface between acquisition financial software and SAP for automated loads for the close.
- Documenting and recording major accounting policies; compare to Kohler Finance policies and propose exceptions where appropriate and/or assess timing of transition to Kohler Policy.
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and implementing standardized reconciliations.
- Understanding the level of statutory reporting currently done and what is required in the future.
- Educating the Business finance teams on Kohler policies, processes, formats, including ACTs.
- Ensure Purchase Accounting is accurately recorded.
- Assignment of other duties as needed.
