KOMAN Integrated Solutions has a critical career opportunity for a Superintendent with federal government contracting experience to help support our Yuma, AZ projects.
The Superintendent will provide boots-on-the-ground direction to our self-perform teams, and or subcontractors to ensure milestones and financial goals are being achieved. The Superintendent will work in tandem with Safety and Quality Control to deliver the best possible product.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs and supervises staff on-site to ensure progress is being on the construction project and that quality and safety standards are being met.
- Participates in the pre-planning process in preparation for project kick-off.
- Prepares and presents 3-week look ahead schedules to client and staff.
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs.
- Work with the Project Manager to track project schedule and budget.
- Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget.
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.
- Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities.
- Implement safety and quality guidelines.
- Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance.
- Keep track of material stock and orders.
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.
- Communicate with clients and internal team on project progress
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years experience as a Construction Superintendent. is required.
- 2-3 years civil contracting experience is required.
- 1-2 years federal government contracting experience is preferred
- OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain before project startrs.
- CQM-C certification or ability to obtain before project starts.
- Ability to manage projects, resources and teams.
- Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.
- Understands construction drawings, plans and specifications.
