What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Assistant position at Kona Grill - North Star?
The Service Assistant’s primary function is supporting the mission of “Making Every Experience Exceptional” by helping the Service team to deliver and maintain high quality standards of customer service that leaves each guest coming back again and again.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Guest first focus, delivering exceptional guest service is a top-priority.
- Teamwork, time management, multitasking, and menu knowledge
- Providing the highest quality of service to the customer
- When running food, views all items on the ticket to guarantee accuracy, disperse food in accordance with the assigned seat numbers.
- Can assist with any questions and maintain table standards.
- Clears and reset tables, including pre-bussing, in a friendly and fast manner.
Job Requirements
- Able to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to speak and write in English
- Ability to exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours all the while maintaining a fun and positive attitude
