We are looking for a Payroll Supervisor who will interact with internal clients, vendors and employees regarding subject matter surrounding the United States based payroll, execution of the payroll process ensuring accurate data and processing of payroll, execution of all legal and tax compliance and reporting for the U.S. You would also come in supporting the development and leading the payroll team to organize the service delivery on a daily basis.
Below are some of the responsibilities to be expected in this role:
- Perform payroll services for the business, ensuring accurate and timely payroll preparation and processing through the Payroll Specialists including the collection, calculation, and processing of payroll data in payroll system for union and non-union payrolls.
- Manages a team responsible for the daily service delivery to achieve the agreed service levels; this includes monitoring the queue of open requests or transactions, prioritizes requests and allocates team capacity accordingly.
- Lead improvement activities across the U.S. and in collaboration with the Payroll Manager, Americas including vendor/technology review, standardization and improvement of processes, creation of payroll calendars, policies and processes.
- Develop documentation for payroll activities for internal departments and business; Complies with country, federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and enforcing adherence to requirements.
As our Payroll Supervisor, you will bring 3 years’ experience leading a team with experience working in a Shared Services environment at some point preferred. In addition, you will bring 5 years of progressive payroll experience that comes with a background in project management for large scale improvement activities. A background with Microsoft proficiency, HRIS Systems (Workday preferred) and ADP would be the ideal fit moving to a role like this.
