Medical assistant

Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting specimens

• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Record patient information, medical histories, and test results accurately in electronic health records
• Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and assist with patient inquiries
• Assist with patient education and provide support during procedures or treatments
• Perform administrative tasks such as coding, billing, and insurance verification

Skills :

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Proficient in medical terminology and coding
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Ability to perform basic life support techniques
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
• Familiarity with X-ray procedures is a plus

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
