Being a hot spot for tourists in the summer due to the beautiful wide beaches and hot weather, visitors come from Philadelphia and New York City to visit the island during the summer to enjoy the relaxing beaches and take advantage of the excellent surfing conditions. Our storefront offers a unique and fun aesthetic, with our inviting modern exterior decor, it is sure to turn heads as people pass by.

About The Position

• Knowledgeable on all menu items
• Attending to guests needs before, during and after their meals
• Correctly inputting orders into POS (to-go)
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment (to-go)
• Collaborate with fellow team members
• Side work delegated by management and/or senior staff
• Self time management and table management
• Clocking in and out within scheduled time
• Stay guest focused and nurture and excellent guest experience
• Ensuring that the Hostess stand is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies
• Welcome guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Ascertains their dining needs
• Seat guest and manage seating charts
• Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and flow
• Responds to guests inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

Your ultimate goal will be to provide high quality service that will help us maintain and attract more guests! There are opportunities to take on leadership and/or management roles in the future as you continue with the company.
