KORE Software’s Insights & Analytics Team designs, develops, and executes the standard and consultative offerings that supplement KORE Software products. Team members work with Customers to tackle organizational challenges around understanding and leveraging data to drive deeper insights into their organization.
The Insights Analyst will report to the Manager, Data Analytics and be responsible for collaborating with other members of the Insights & Analytics team.
The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, able to meet deadlines, detail-oriented, data-focused, and have a strong ability to work well in a team-based setting. This includes a customer service disposition and the ability to collaborate both with internal and external teams.
This selected candidate will have a demonstrated ability to build data visualizations and the technical aptitude to grow into stronger SQL scripting skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position will split their time between KORE’s Pro Sports Standard product line (Ticketing & Fan Engagement, Sponsorship, KONNECT, Suites & Premium) and KORE’s Data Warehouse & Analytics Product (DWA). The expectation is this role will expand as skills and experience grow, the following is an estimated breakdown of this individual’s time be allocated in main categories of tasks:
Help implement the data analytics vision for business decision making through Tableau dashboard design.
Work with the Insights & Analytics group to create optimal ways to plan, measure, and report business performance for clients.
Ability to engage in business strategy conversations and build appropriate reporting and solutions.
Design, improve, manage and deploy KORE’s standard reporting suite across product lines.
Work within KORE databases and additional data sources for the creation of reports and additional business intelligence use cases.
Maintain and optimize operational and analytical scripts for KORE’s product lines.
Work closely with our success and sales organizations to understand processes, and how we help address client needs and product pain points through technical solutions.
Communication & Consultation
Communicate with customers via phone, email, face-to-face, and web meetings to assist and guide them through KORE’s products
Analyze and define tasks, data flows, and dependencies in relation to project deliverables
Work cross-departmentally to continue to develop KORE’s reporting products
1-2 years of Tableau Desktop experience building workbooks and dashboards
1-2 years professional SQL experience
Experience with Tableau Server, user administrative tasks are a plus
Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills
Familiarity with the sports industry is a plus
A working understanding of relational databases
Ability to communicate professionally in both a written and verbal context with external end-users and internal colleagues
