Growing Food Company in the Woodstock, VA area has a need for a Plant Manager. This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package and relocation.
Direct production and ensure cost effectiveness and consistency with prescribed quality, accuracy, and performance standards.
Maintain plant property and equipment in good condition to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and to ensure effective and economical operations.
Prepare and submit operating reports to leadership to inform them of the current production status and to make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure effective customer service and relations through timely delivery of quality product.
Select, train, develop, and motivate manufacturing staff to maintain plant operation.
Ensure compliance of all plant operations with company policy and federal, state, and local regulations.
Set production and processing goals for plant.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required
o Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of food or poultry industry experience.
o 3 years of management experience required.
o Working knowledge of computer programs used in the operation of the production plant
like Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
o Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with
- all levels of staff, with cross functional teams and upper management required.
Salary : $97,800 - $124,000
