Job Description:
KPA Engineers is seeking a highly motivated individual to function as a CAD Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated individual with an appetite to develop and expand their knowledge. Individual duties include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting designs for complete and complex engineering systems, structures, and arrangements with supervision by a Project Manager.
- Ability to read drawings and understand the interface between utilities, highways, and buildings.
- Produce technical drawings for a wide range of products and components, ideally in the field for transportation, drainage, and water/wastewater infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in civil drafting or other relevant degree program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in AutoCAD Civil3D and civil drafting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs.
