KPMG is currently seeking a Development Engineer to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the demand lifecycle process is performed according to the agreed and documented standard and meets the aims of the definition; accountable for supporting projects consistent with long-range IT plans and installation standards
- Periodically audit and review the platform strategy to ensure compliance; ensure the strategy is still appropriate and propose change as required
- Perform the operational function of implementing and supporting the platform/application configuration and development activities, including collaboration with other teams to achieve results
- Lead discovery and design work sessions to obtain requirements clarity and produce deliverables, such as mock-ups, flow diagrams, etc.; lead all aspects of SDLC by working closely with the Dev and QA teams
- Analyze support issues, identify improvement opportunities i.e., Root Cause, and manage the work necessary to implement related improvements; analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and manage the work necessary to implement related improvements
- Maintain skills within the profession; stay abreast of the latest technology, trends, practices, techniques, and capabilities in the market
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent, deep functional and technical knowledge of the platform configuration and development; experience of Software Architecture and Design Patterns and strong .NET Framework fundamentals.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps is a plus; Extensive working experience of MS SQL and SQL programming; Visual Studio 2019, SQL Management Studio, Code Repository Tool (preferably GIT/Bitbucket), SharePoint
- Experience with Development & Project Management Tools (Preferably JIRA, ServiceNow, Fortify, WhiteSource)
- Ability to prioritize issues and deliver high quality, timely results; ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects and demands; extensive experience with troubleshooting complex applications and managing offshore teams
