KPMG is currently seeking an Executive Director, Global Business Services to join our Global Business Services organization.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage deep skills in Outsourcing Operations, to design, setup and provide initial run support for Operational Hubs for People Operations and Risk Management Operations; Operational Hubs will report into GBS Operations but will be service providers to the BPG organizations
- Support internal KPMG leaders who are established as People Operations and Risk Management Operations leaders including but not limited to: helping them setup their team structures with appropriate spans and layers, centralizing work identified during Design to be performed in central locations such as Jamaica and helping them to establish SLAs, KPIs, governance models for their respective Operational Hub
- Monitor and manage service delivery performance in Operational Hubs leveraging communications and governance forums as well as resolving escalated issues on service delivery regarding balancing customer satisfaction in line with operational efficiency
- Key deliverables from work effort include team structures, SLAs/KPIs/Governance meetings and creating of an Operational Hub playbook, which will be used a blueprint for each Operational Hub that is established in future GBS rollouts; leverage experiences from KPMG UK GBS rollout for this handbook, as well as their prior industry experiences to establish a first draft of a best practice playbook for Operational Hubs
- Accountable for onboarding future Operational Hub leader, performing knowledge transition for new leader in FY Q1
Qualifications:
- Minimum twenty years of experience in leading transformation projects in the operations space with experience in outsourcing and/or business services industry
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required, Master's degree preferred
- Experience with design, build and run operations in a muti-function shared services or global business services environment; and managing service delivery in captive environments and/or third parties in outsourcing environment with experience in consulting services or business process outsourcing preferred
- Aptitude to build and lead global teams, with diverse members in multiple geographic locations and work across the globe, dealing with a variety of national IGH ecosystems, cultures and ways of doing business; Ability to think about objectives from multiple perspectives and consider non-conventional ideas and approaches for achieving objectives; ability to manage multiple complex concurrent programs, applying deep expertise to make concrete decisions that impact the organization and the firm
- Experience managing and delivering large-scale projects including project planning and monitoring, resource management (including project finances), benefits realization with ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs
- Exceptional verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; Ability to direct, motivate and empower others to work towards the organization's goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across multiple functions; Lead and ensure execution of strategic initiatives for the organization; Ability to address emerging opportunities and how organization should be organized/staffed to realize them
- Some travel may be required to Jamaica, Mexico, India, or UK, or domestic travel to Orlando
