KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Account Operations to join our Business Development organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work to understand the client master services agreement, statement of work templates and rate card implications; review contracts for consistency and for adherence to the master services agreement and client requirements prior to submission to client
- Track contracts from initiation through execution working with client procurement, if applicable; coordinate any contractual changes working with KPMG and client legal departments; point of contact for client procurement for contract administration, client reporting requirements, and related matters
- Accountable for overall operations of the account to ensure continuous process creation, improvement and increased efficiency; conduct oversight of junior onshore and/or offshore resource(s); advise account leadership on business operational needs
- Oversee account's facilitation of resource onboarding, maintenance, offboarding, invoicing, payments and AR reconciliation processes per client requirements in client's Vendor Management (VMS); develop and maintain account operational procedures manual and onboarding guide for new engagement teams; use continuous communications with clients to provide excellent customer service experience throughout onboarding process
- Conduct account financials forecasting, analysis and reporting; coordinate responses to various client audit and compliance requests for information
- Substantial contribution and ownership of Account Operations Team activities, initiatives and sharing of best practices; accountable for coaching and oversight of one or more junior team members as their People Management Leader
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in one or more business related areas including Government, Financial and Data Analysis, Project Management and Business Operations; experience in the Technology industry is a plus; minimum two years of people management experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Finance or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook; experience with SharePoint, Customer Relationship Databases, Google Workspace, and Vendor Management System is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills required. Ability to exercise independent judgment to make day to day decisions with minimal supervision
- Strong process development and training skills as this will develop S&L scope of services for future Account Operations resources supporting government accounts
- Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to multi-task; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Residing in the State of FL or southeast US is preferred
