KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, L&D Process & Control to join our Learning & Development organization.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a working knowledge of the firm's Quality Control processes; Responsible for identifying effectiveness and efficiency targets/measures and driving the execution related to Tax Learning & Development (Tax L&D); Support the implementation and monitoring of quality control processes and the effectiveness of process controls identified throughout the Tax development and deployment training cycle in a timely manner
- Responsible for end-to-end documentation (flowcharting, process mapping) of the current state processes and perform assessments to target waste and address control risks; Help identify process improvement opportunities for select development and delivery processes, including CPE; manage narratives and other supporting documentation, make updates as appropriate, in conjunction with Tax L&D team leads and Tax Business Learning Strategy team and other SoQC professionals
- Collaborate with SoQC, Risk Management-Tax, Internal Audit, L&D and other controls/compliance testing teams to ensure risks are effectively planned for and mitigated; Support walkthroughs of Tax L&D processes with SoQC team and Internal Audit, as appropriate
- Conserve a working knowledge of the functionality and reporting associated with Required Learning System (RLS) - analyze and consult, as needed, to provide stakeholders with insight on RLS or other systems capabilities to meet stakeholders' business needs
- Manage the population and execution for launching learning requirements, including those in support of the audit, in collaboration with stakeholders and the RLS team and monitor completions as specified by stakeholder
- Assist with ad hoc Tax L&D initiatives; Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent work experience in process optimization as it relates to Learning and Development
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience in controls testing, Learning & Development operational processes and/or risk consulting a plus
- Lean six sigma, minimum green belt, a plus; Ability to manage projects and processes, applying relevant knowledge to make concrete decisions that impact the L&D organization and related risks
- Proficient in full Microsoft Office suite; intermediate Excel (including VLOOKUP and pivots) and SharePoint experience preferred; Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of an organization; Hands-on, independent and accountable delivery mindset with strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to travel up to twenty-five percent
