Responsibilities:Participate in the execution of audit engagements for clients, includingSecurities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Review, collect, andanalyze data to detect deficient controls, fraud or noncompliance with SOX ActSection 404. Review and analyze U.S. GAAP financial statements and financialprojections. Review SEC filings and research technical accounting issues.Analyze goodwill and long-lived asset impairment. Understand and utilize KPMG'sAudit Methodology.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F(9:00am - 5:00pm)
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor'sdegree from anaccredited college/university or foreign equivalent in Accounting ora related field plus five (5) years of experience in the offered position or arelated occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a master's degree plustwo (2) years of experience. Any suitablecombination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Two years ofexperience must include: Performingaudit procedures through the application of SEC and AICPA auditing standards;SOX Act Section 404; evaluating internal control over financial reporting inaccordance with COSO framework; evaluatingclient companies' business processes and environments to identify the risk ofaccounting fraud and noncompliance with laws and regulations; and designing anddeveloping audit approaches to mitigate financial statement risks based on U.S.GAAS for private entities and PCAOB auditing standards for SEC registrants.
LICENSEREQUIREMENT: CPA License required.
