KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join Technology Assurance in our Audit (https://audit.kpmg.us/) practice.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements for clients, including Financial Statement Audits, SOC Audits, real time readiness assessments and other attestations and/or platform reviews within multiple industries.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle
- Identify and communicate IT audit findings to senior management and clients
- Help identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients
- Supervise and provide performance management for IT audit staff working on assigned engagements
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of professional experience preferably in any of the following areas: internal or external IT audit, Modern ERP packages (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.), or risk assessment with a minimum of three years of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance testing or SOC Audit experience leading engagement teams.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
- CPA, CISA or relevant certification preferred (though not required for this position)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge, as well as the ability to write at a publication quality level to communicate findings and recommendations to the client's senior management team
- Ability to travel as necessary
