KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Risk Management organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of technology-related risks during the firm's technology review process and throughout the risk lifecycle by working productively with various review teams (e.g., Security, Privacy, and Legal), business leadership, project managers and project team members to help efficiently and effectively manage the firm's technology risks
  • Aid in the facilitation the approval of technology requests based on the result of risk assessments, applicable effective challenge, and judgement-based decision making
  • Support the firm's IT strategy, governance, and management of compliance activities to ensure technologies and processes adhere to respective policy requirements
  • Collaborate, design, develop, evaluate, and recommend various risk management guidelines and policies, while suggesting changes and coordinating implementation, as needed; contribute to the continued improvement of Risk Management processes, materials, and tools
  • Lead and/or participate in various Risk Management projects and initiatives
  • Help team with the development and implementation of new technology governance review methodologies, and protocols as new services or Firm Transformation initiatives are being implemented by the firm

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent related work experience in Risk Management, Project Management, IT Security Management, Software Development and/or Technology-related consulting
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Progressive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of various levels; strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Hands-on, independent, and accountable management style; capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects
  • Ability to travel as needed

Albany Salary Range: Low: $69500 - High: $122400
Colorado Salary Range: Low: $73000 - High: $128500
New York City Salary Range: Low: $79900 - High: $140800
