General Summary:
The Assistant Store Director will assist the Store Director with store operations in manner that is consistent with our Mission and budget. This position is also responsible for overall profitability, sales, appearance, customer service, and enforcement of all Standards. It is the assistant store director’s responsibility to execute and reach the Company’s goals set out for the position.
Responsibilities:
- Team development – Must assist the store director in building a strong team that creates a culture of appreciation, empowerment, and trust. Meet goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to department managers
- Standards – will assist in executing standards across entire operation: Merchandising plan o grams, job specific, food safety, work safety, cleanliness, health code, uniform, customer service, etc… Ensure that all standards are being met daily.
- Sales & Budget – Required to assist the store director in growing sales and meeting budget through creative merchandising, promotional excitement, fun events, superior quality, and superior customer service.
- Buying & Inventory – Ensure appropriate inventory levels by overseeing pre-buys and warehouse buys
- Appearance – Store and team conditions must be held at a high standard; our goal is to operate the cleanest and best maintained stores in the markets we serve.
- Customer service – Must be present on the floor during busy periods to ensure team is excelling at their jobs and that all standards are being met. Set an exemplary customer service example and build relationships with customers. Lead by example and create a shopping experience that is known for genuine customer service. Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service.
- Quality – Ensure that only superior quality is on our shelves and in our cases. Product must look fresh, bright, full, clean, and taste even better. Ensure that all are production processes yield only the best quality for our customers. Ensure that quality is consistently met daily in every department.
- Issues – Handles all general issues with store, customers, or team members as they arise in a professional manner.
- Act as Store Director in absence of Store Director
- Additional duties as needed
Requirements
- Proven successful experience as a retail manager
- Enacts and leads change
- Customer management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to follow up on tasks
- Ability to take off hour calls and report to work as necessary outside normal scheduled working hours
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

- High School Diploma or GED
Salary : $45,000 - $53,000
