We have an immediate need for a highly talented and motivated Program Analyst to join our Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services (KDRSS) location. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Aerospace staff. KDRSS maintains a unique and highly capable mix of flight, ground, and material testing capability and specialized software development and application to the Hypersonic T&E.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • The candidate will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract types, sizes, complexity, and level of risk.
  • The candidate will have a significant interface with Project Managers, Contract Management staff, Senior Technical Personnel, and other functional organizations.
    Develop written reports, briefings, and other documentation.
  • Ability to analyze profitability, subcontracts monthly and attend briefings with functional staff to validate current project status
  • Provide accurate sources of revenue data for inclusion in quarterly forecast exercises
  • Ability to build and maintain bottom's up estimate at completions on all project types, meet deadlines for submissions, certifications and provide management with ongoing status of EACs
  • Establishes detailed Budgets as required.
  • Ensures adherence to KDRSS policies and procedures as they relate to contract financials. Participates in new business proposals, project projections, analysis of requirements, and input to cost and management volumes.

Required Experience:


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Experience / Working knowledge of Cost Point and Cognos
  • Moderate Experience level with Microsoft EXCEL/VBA
  • Candidates must possess a strong background working with multiple contract Types Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive (FPI), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and hybrid contracts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Assistance with technical proposal writing and development

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Finance or Accounting and 3 years of Project Control or related experience is Required OR Master's Degree and one year of experience.

This position allows for some telecommuting.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes.
