extensive offering of unique, hand-crafted sun and optical frames designed in New Orleans and crafted
with the utmost attention to detail. In addition to brick & mortar locations, “tiny house: concept stores,
and a robust ecommerce business the brand is also available at many notable independent and major
retailers such as Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Shopbop. KREWE’s unique approach to
eyewear has created a cult-following amongst consumers and influencers alike. Our frames have
appeared in publications from GQ to VOGUE and on celebrities such as Beyonce, Gigi Hadid, Meghan
Markle, Carrie Underwood, Hailey Bieber, Zayne Malik, Scott Disick, Adam Huber, among others.
As the business grows, we are seeking smart, creative, and experienced individuals to join our talented
team! Key attributes and qualities we are looking for in candidates for all open roles include an

accountability.
We are currently searching for a high-performing Director of Optical to develop and implement a
growth strategy for KREWE’s optical products and prescription fill services across the In-Person sales
channel.
Key responsibilities include:
● Partner with Krewe leaders and founder to strategize and execute plan to impact Krewe’s
optical growth and meet long term objectives of being an industry leader.
● Source and secure the optimal vendors and partners for enhancement and growth across
products, services, and technology. Such as lens providers, finishing labs (inhouse) and 3rd
party labs, prescription and order related service technologies, CRM/Patient communications,
and Optometrist relationships.
● Establish the New Orleans market as a center for optical excellence by establishing the service
model and standards that are both measurable and scalable.
● Establish a plan per market, store, and/or location to meet the sales and service standards
established in the center for excellence.
● Coach, develop, and motivate teams through strong accountability and collaboration as a
leader of optical.
● Successfully track, measure, and drive YOY optical rate of growth through KPIs.
Qualifications:
● Minimum 10 years of optical business development experience
● Track record of developing successful business growth strategy specific to Optical business
● A strong operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Someone who can be both strategic
and tactical as the business dictates
● Demonstrated experience negotiating with vendors to achieve costing and quality improvements
● Proven experience working within a high-growth organization and contributing to enhancement
and success of product processes and execution
● Excellent analytical and organizational skills
● Flexible and adaptable. Amenable to looking at existing processes/standardizations and future
solutions in different ways
● Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, identify opportunities and effectively
implement new ideas
● A proven leader with experience in developing high-performing teams
● BA/BS degree
