Primary Objective
Responsible for demonstrating a love of food and passion for people that includes incredible Customer Service and performance excellence through department knowledge and technical expertise. As a Bakery/Deli team member, the Baker promotes and delivers a shopping experience focused on providing customers the level of service to which we have publicly committed by providing efficient service through hands-on knowledge of Bakery products.The Baker adheres to organizational procedures, policies and systems including food quality standards and food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Baker is focused on driving sales through suggestive selling, sampling, recipe ideas and promoting sales events.

- Ensures proper product preparation, packaging, Working knowledge of Bakery/Deli legal, safety, presentation, rotation, replenishment and sanitation SOP’s
- Ensures in-stock position of available product Consistent execution of all Bakery/Deli SOP’s
- Maintains high cleanliness standards – clean as you go, inclusive of washing, cleaning, sweeping, mopping
3. Performance Focus – Assists financial results in Sales and Supplies and Shrink Management.

- Suggestive SELLS and Samples short-coded Monitors product quality to reduce Shrink product Utilizes appropriate supplies to reduce costs
4. Planning Focus –

- Education or Experience – Minimum High school education or currently enrolled
- Environmental – working with hot equipment, working with hot grease, exposed to fatty acids and smoke, working close to heated surfaces.
