Our Expert Services practice, construction division, provides industry and technical insights to win disputes related to the construction contracting industry and related areas and prepares expert analysis to help clients understand, prevent and manage fraud.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Vice President you will work in the Expert Services practice in the areas of construction contracting and related disputes.
- Managing staff members to ensure engagement execution that will support thorough and grounded expert opinions and/or provide quality expert and consulting services to attorneys and clients within established timeframes.
- Providing guidance to attorneys and clients on key construction and claims issues, financial management, and business issues.
- Developing and/or evaluating damages claims and calculations.
- Writing consulting and expert report with exhibits.
- Reviewing and creating project revenue and project cost analyses, project controls analysis, financial models, and other analyses necessary for the claims and dispute process.
- Reviewing internal and external communications, including client proposals and expert reports.
- Contributing to the growth of the practice through business development and marketing efforts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Statistics; or an MBA
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in disputes/litigation support practice with a focus on construction contracting.
- Demonstrated revenue and cost report analysis, and cost controls analysis skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the types of construction contracts, the types of construction claims, project cost accounting, and project cost and percentage of completion reporting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and finance principles, and financial statement presentation and analysis.
- Demonstrated analytical, research, and quantitative skills.
- Proven project management and presentation skills.
- Proven experience managing professional staff and working effectively in an engagement team environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting expert opinions and/or providing revenue and cost analytical services to attorneys and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.
- Experience working with diverse teams.
- CPA license or other applicable certification.
