The Inside Sales Associate is critical to the overall success of the Kruse Lumber Sales Team. This individual will create, foster and sustain valuable relationships with our customers, vendors and team members. The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for greeting and helping customers on the show floor, estimating material takeoffs, providing quotes and selling and processing orders for building materials received via phone or in person. The successful sales associate will be comfortable making and receiving multiple calls per day and prospecting.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Assist customers with product selections and designs
· Material takeoffs and estimates, special orders and coordinating orders and deliveries
· Develop new business
· Maintain showroom displays
· Relationship management

The successful Inside Sales Associate is a friendly, outgoing, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. High detail and efficiency in personal organization and time management are pivotal characteristics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are key.
Minimum Requirements:
· Retail sales or showroom experience
· High school diploma
· Proficient in Microsoft and in basic computer skills
· Customer service experience
Preferred:
· General building material experience/knowledge
