Requirements
The West Palm Beach office of Kubicki Draper, is currently seeking a litigation attorney with 1 years of experience as a licensed attorney. The position involves both pre-suit and litigation work. Experience or interest in personal injury required, MORE EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES WELCOME TO APPLY, however, must be a member of the Florida Bar. Remote and hybrid options available.
Qualifications:
Strong legal research and writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
Previous experience in litigation, or interest in litigation
Desire to attend depositions, hearings, mediations and trials
Ability to work cases from beginning to close, as well as manage resources on cases
Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
Draft/review substantive pleadings and motions
Respond to motions & discovery
Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
Lead and manage a team
Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment
