The Internship Program
Kubota’s internship program will provide you the opportunity to gain hands on experience that will prepare you for your future endeavors. During the internship program, you will attend social and networking events and build relationships with Kubota leadership and other student interns. Each intern will be assigned a Capstone project that will focus on areas of improvement within our business. The Capstone project will provide each intern the opportunity to create solutions that could be implemented into our everyday business practices. During the internship program, you will work independently as well as a partner with other Kubota teams. Your Capstone project will be presented to Executive leadership at the conclusion of the program which will provide you the opportunity to display your perspective and acquired knowledge.
BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Kubota Tractor Corporation is looking for a Parts Intern at our North American Distribution Center in Edgerton, KS. Our intern will work on creating a standardized process to capture KPI's for critical functions: Receiving, Shipping (Picking & Packing) and Cycle count.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures, and guidelines:
Develop understanding of the processes at each division, then evaluate the best way to standardize the best/proven practices that will serve as KTC standard.
Start implementing the process at each division
PDCA the new process
Create SOP's related to new processes and procedures and share these resources with all divisions
Complete standardization of Key practices from all divisions to follow same process throughout the company.
Share the practices and validate the results and benefits
Develop individual skills to capture the process at the division level to share across the network
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Capstone: NADC Facility Process Improvement
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
Supply Chain, Economics, Business, or similar field preferred
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
Interest in Supply Chain, Parts, or related field
Strong analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Office equipment including computer, copier, fax, phone, printer
