Your Role
Joining Supply Chain Design, Kuehne Nagel’s exciting and rapidly expanding team, the individual will be responsible to lead supply chain consulting projects for North America based Key AccountsYour Responsibilities
- In alignment with key commercial stakeholders, identify and qualify potential projects that can deliver sustainable value to both Kuehne Nagel and our Key Accounts
- Position Kuehne Nagel’s Supply Chain Design services to Key Accounts and create the need for the client to engage in a supply chain consulting project
- Prepare, organize, and run supply chain management whiteboard sessions aimed at understanding client’s supply chain strategies, needs and challenges as well as their future supply chain potential
- Analyze information, process, data, and assumptions
- During the project life cycle, functionally manage virtual and international project teams with different disciplines and seniority levels
- Formalize a value proposition based on a compelling business case in terms of cost, return, risk and implementation time frame
- Lead the value proposition discussion with client and deal with potential objections and Q&A until final decision is received
- Professionally transition client approved solution projects to the appointed Lead Implementation Manager
- Create and maintain business cases based on successfully delivered projects, with particular focus on developing external ones
- Use and continuously improve the tools and the methodology of Supply Chain Design
Your Skills and Experiences
Your Skills and Experience
- At least 10 years in the logistics industry with consistent exposure on strategic projects (a plus if this experience includes a blend of working on both the client side as well as service provider side)
- A good understanding of Supply Chain Management disciplines; planning, sourcing, purchasing, transportation, warehousing & distribution
- 3PL and 4PL operational knowledge
- Business Administration including basic finance knowledge
