Your Role
The Human Resources Generalist is a hands-on representative of the Human Resources department whose job is to help facilitate all basic Human Resources functions including payroll administration, training, recruitment, compiling and maintaining employee related information, special projects, and other human resource activities.Your Responsibilities
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues
- In partnership and guidance of HR Manager, provide coaching to mid-level to senior managers on the resolution of sensitive employee situations, including performance improvement, disciplinary actions and terminations
- Work and partner directly with supervisors/managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on HR matters as well as support building morale, increase productivity and retention
- Identify potential adverse situations and formulate and report to HR Management leaders for possible countermeasures
- Assist in the facilitation of global programs and required HR training activities
- Develop, facilitate, and implement staffing strategies & plans to ensure the right people are in the right positions with the necessary skills to do the job in conjunction with HR corporate recruiting staff
- Supports with New Hire Orientation, maintaining the schedule of when performance appraisals are due
- Serve as local contact for employee benefits information and assist new hires with enrolling in benefits; act as liaison between employees and corporate benefits administrator
- Maintain local personnel files, including occasional audits of files and notifies corporate HR of any personnel changes
Your Skills and Experiences
- 2-3 years Human Resources experience
- Microsoft Suite Experience; Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is beneficial
- Individual must also demonstrate integrity, flexibility, sound judgment, strong intuitive skills, and be results driven
- Customer service experience beneficial
- Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks
