Your Role
The Project Manager will manage the program of Automation, Systems integration, RCA of key customer issues, including the strategic program as the Rockwell site evolves. Under the guidance of the site GM, the Project Manager will drive the technical delivery and development of the optimization of the Rockwell facility. Management of working partnerships with strategic partners including Bastian and Manhattan. Key customer contact on program and KPI resolution , including key customer liaison on KPI and RCA analysis.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementation, supporting and meeting KN and/or customer KPIs within sphere of responsibility.
- Awareness of and adherence to QSHE programs.
- Ensure QSHE compliance of team/station(s) is maintained.
- Ensure the necessary handling procedures (both physical & written) are followed accordingly when applicable, documented in client-level Quality Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and SOPs.
- Understand and adhere to local State and Federal regulations inclusive but not limited to, OSHA, DOT, EPA and other government agencies. IATA DG Certification is required to handle any hazardous material(s).
- Keep up to date with KN global and country specific KN standards and requirements.
- Implement/maintain safety, security, quality, housekeeping and sanitation programs, as applicable.
- Work closely with other departments to deliver high level of service to customers.
- Managing close effective customer relationships including cross functional projects from strategic change management to CI activities and ensuring the RCA delivery on key customer issues;
- Management of key supplier partner relationships pertaining to key automation solutions and systems management, working closely with the IS, Engineering and Ops functions to maintain high levels of service performance;
- Working closely with operations on the delivery of customer KPI's including data analysis of key issues and driving cross functional RCA of key issues;
- Management of change roadmaps for the site in conjunction with IS, KNPS, Suppliers, Customer and Operations teams;
- Develop project plans and recommendations in support of Key Objectives and Lead implementation;
- Develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships. Successfully manage customer expectations.
- Control and monitor project effectiveness; update project plans as necessary.
- Identify, track, manage and mitigate project issues and risks;
- Develop escalation process to channel issues and concerns to appropriate parties;
- Provide regular project communications and timely status reports, as well as align goals, objectives and priorities within the team.
- Will perform other job tasks, as assigned.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics or related field required;
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a warehouse environment or as a Project Manager;
- Project Management experience;
- Demonstrate experience as a process improvement delivery specialist;
- Experience delivering Kaizen or Rapid Improvement activities based on Value Stream Mapping preferred
- Demonstrates a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to energize and inspire others; in these areas
- Ability to manage and influence indirectly to other KN Departments, IS, KNPS, HR.
- Excellent communication and inter personal skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently

- Advanced skills in MS office tools including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, MS project and MS Visio
- CAD Drawing software experience preferred
- Ability to work under pressure in a change management environment;
- Ability to manage heavy workload and prioritize tasks to meet objectives;
- English written and oral skills
