What we’re looking for:
In all seriousness, we are a great, well-established company with a tremendous opportunity for the right individual. Even though we are professionals in a business environment, we need to remember that our business is to maximize the enjoyment of people looking to the open road for fun. The opportunity is for a detail-oriented, experienced individual to work in our marketing department with our Content Manager and Digital Marketing Lead to maximize our online UX on our owned sites and social channels in order to significantly grow our retail presence and direct-to-consumer sales. This position will be responsible for growing the online sales channel by conducting competitor analysis, working to ensure marketing initiatives align with inventory position, analyzing campaigns and adjusting for optimization, managing and maximizing monthly digital ad spend.
What you’ll be doing:
• Stay abreast of the most current trends and resulting content needs.
• Develop on-brand content that drives both brand/product awareness and sales
• Create web and/or interactive visual designs that address business, brand, market, and user experience
• Create, develop and curate best-in-class multimedia content for use on blogs and all major social media platforms (primarily Social Post, Live-feeds, Social Graphics, Video, Banner Ads, Carousels, Sliders, etc.). Manage all aspects of our company’s YouTube channel.
• Design and produce creative for our websites that will enhance the overall UX of the sites. This includes web pages, landing pages, product graphics
• Support the creation and dissemination of best-in-class e-Commerce content that will enhance our company’s overall returns on non-owned sites (Amazon, Walmart.com, etc.) Includes: A+ content, video edits, brand store pages. Routine content upload and management.
• Maintain the content on our non-owned ecommerce sites (Amazon, Walmart.com, etc.)
• Create static and rich email campaigns to harvest sales from our current email data base (both B2B and B2C.)
• Contribute to the growth and retention of our owned lists for email.
• Work in conjunction with Content Manager, Sr. Graphic Designer and other marketing leaders to define strategic digital initiatives. Contribute to the visual design at all levels, from conceptual proposals to detailed project scopes and asset production supporting those strategies.
• Work with our in-house repository to keep cataloged content current, accurate and compelling.
• Understand and be able to deliver upon the unique and varied needs of B2B vs B2C markets where applicable.
• Act in a support role to Sr. Graphic Designer supplying traditional graphics, logos, print collateral, brand identity design materials, info graphics and other similar graphics where necessary.
• Harvest data from key sources (google analytics, etc.) to draw conclusions and drive arguments for key initiatives in various digital channels.
• Assist in-house photographer with product shoots as needed. Including retouch.
• Assist in the creation of in-house and in-field video shoots and edits suitable for a variety of formats needs.
• Perform A/B testing to verify validity of content.
• Support the integration of contracted bands (Barracuda). Assist in integration and launch of all digital assets in North America.
• Adeptly manage multiple projects while effectively meeting timelines and quality design expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.
