Seeking Experienced Sushi Chefs!
Exciting New Upscale Sushi Concept in Rancho Cucamonga
Our chefs are from Michelin-star restaurants. We are seeking culinary professionals who understand what this means and the standards we seek to set and follow daily.
This is an excellent opportunity for serious, dedicated cooks who can turn and burn. There is opportunity for advancement into leadership and management roles for the right candidate, we are a growing company with multiple restaurant concepts.
Your Duties:
1. Show up for shifts prepared and on time with a positive attitude.
2. Consistently apply the utmost personal effort and care to your work.
3. Sushi Bar - execute proper technique and follow our recipes.
4. Lifting up to 50 lbs on occasion. Constant bending/stooping/reaching/walking/standing.
5. Work in unison with fellow cooks and FOH staff to ensure food is up to standards.
6. Any other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by managers and supervisors.
Your Qualifications:
- Good Character (references will be checked)
- Strong knife skills
- Organized & Reasonable
- Accountable & Responsible
- Proper Cleanliness Standards (S.B. County Food Handler Card Required)
- Knowledge of industry best practices and norms
- Not afraid to ask questions and learning from mistakes (We are human!)
