Payroll Administrator
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of the company’s payroll.
Responsibilities
- Administer payroll for employees (weekly, bi-weekly)
- Review and audit employee timesheets and resolve discrepancies
- Update employee payroll data such as tax withholding and direct deposit accounts
- Prepare payroll and other reports for Manager as required
- Review and abide by company policies and procedures
- Resolve payroll errors
Requirements and skills
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs (Viewpoint Spectrum experience highly desired)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Degree in business administration, finance or accounting preferred; High School diploma required
