Kyros is a venture-backed Minneapolis based start-up that has built the world’s first Substance Use Disorder recovery management platform. The addiction treatment industry is not working effectively, and we want to change that. We have an amazing team of developers and are looking to grow our Product Team in Minneapolis with the addition of a Senior Product Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join us at the ground floor level and see the impact of your work every day. The role will focus on defining features/epics and prioritizing the team backlog to streamline the execution priorities to satisfy our overall strategy and business objectives. As we evolve and grow our customer base, the role will expand to be more involved with the product strategy and roadmap.

Our office is located in Minneapolis, MN and this role is only open to local residents. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
What you'll do in the Senior Product Manager role:
- Immerse yourself in the market by interfacing with internal and external audiences to understand the competitive landscape in which we operate, and the user personas we serve
- Partner with customer-facing teams, product researchers, designers, data analysts, and engineers to imagine and bring to life the digital experiences that will be most meaningful to our constituents
- Continually groom the product backlog to ensure the development team(s) are working on the highest priority items that will deliver the most value to constituents
- Define the product requirements for your assigned product(s) by writing clearly articulated epics & stories, with clear acceptance criteria
- Participate and/or lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint demos, sprint retrospectives, refinements, and estimation
- Participate and/or lead go-to-market activities by ensuring operational, sales, and market readiness
- Serve as a subject matter expert regarding your assigned product(s), showing responsiveness to questions, ideas, and feedback from internal and external partners
- Contribute to helping us implement product management best practices and processes

- You have five years of experience working as a Product Manager, preferably on SaaS or marketplace products
- You’re highly collaborative, with an ability to work cross-functionally across the organization, as well as with external partners and customers
- You’re a strong communicator, comfortable presenting in front of groups to evangelize the product, train stakeholders, participate in sales processes, etc.
- You bring experience in agile development methodologies, including feature/user story definition, backlog grooming, prioritization, and agile ceremonies
- You’re comfortable interfacing with customers, users, and market-facing staff to build empathy, solicit ideas, and gather feedback to inform the product roadmap
- You’re familiar with the Atlassian Suite: Especially Jira and Confluence
- You’ve worked on health and/or marketplace technology
