Job Description: Production Operator
Location: Dalles, Oregon; 97058
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Production Operator for our chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain equipment, ensure safety and quality standards, and contribute to efficient chemical production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Production Equipment:
- Operate reactors, mixers, centrifuges, and pumps per SOPs.
- Monitor and control production processes.
- Perform routine quality checks and testing.
- Report deviations and assist in corrective actions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE.
- Load and unload raw materials and products.
- Handle and store hazardous materials safely.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in chemicals.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, operate equipment, and stand for extended periods.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
