Job Summary
L'Auberge de Sedona is a Forbes 4 Star Resort located on the banks of Oak Creek in the majestic Red Rock country of Sedona, AZ.
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the accounts payable/accounts receivable functions at the hotel as applicable; ensuring invoices are received and/or processed on a timely basis responsible for handling all the hotel deposits in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality Standards.

Qualifications
- GED or high school diploma required
- An Associates degree or equivalent preferred
- Be able to work independently within established procedures
- 1-3 yrs of relevant experience required
- Strong computer skills a must; proficient in Microsoft applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Reading comprehension skills to read and interpret financial documents
- General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures
- Strong comfortability in an office environment
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
Responsibilities
- Assist in month end reporting procedures
- Performs a range of routine accounting activities such as
- Data entry
- Maintenance of the general ledger
- Preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports
- Apply accounting principles, regulations and policies to all work duties
- Reviews, codes and verifies transactions and journal entries
- Researches and resolves issues
- Completes simple and complex calculations using spreadsheets
- Assists with trial balances
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Has a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Processing of sales group accounts
- Any duties assigned by management.
