Barista

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Take customer orders and process payments using the Square POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Prepare and serve food items, such as pastries and sandwiches
- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies
- Clean and organize the coffee bar area, including restocking cups, lids, and other items

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the food service or food industry preferred
- Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of POS systems, specifically Square POS, is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and safety standards
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profile.

- Have availability for Holidays and Weekends
