As a Skin Health Advisor (SHA) on the L’Oréal Derm Team, you will serve as a vital link between L'Oréal's scientific data and dermatologists, showcasing the benefits of our products to drive sales. Working closely with the Regional Sales Director, you will implement data-driven strategies to achieve recommendation goals, sales targets, and manage territory KPIs. Your role involves planning, coordinating, and executing field-based product detailing activities, ensuring dermatologists have the necessary information to confidently recommend L'Oréal products to their patients.

What You Will Do
As a Skin Health Advisor (SHA) on the L’Oréal Derm Team, you will serve as a vital link between L'Oréal's scientific data and dermatologists, showcasing the benefits of our products to drive sales. Working closely with the Regional Sales Director, you will implement data-driven strategies to achieve recommendation goals, sales targets, and manage territory KPIs. Your role involves planning, coordinating, and executing field-based product detailing activities, ensuring dermatologists have the necessary information to confidently recommend L'Oréal products to their patients.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Regional Sales Director to achieve sales and recommendation targets, and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.
- Maintain strong communication with each dermatology office, building relationships with dermatologists and their staff to establish trust and credibility.
- Educate dermatologists and staff on our priority product portfolio, leveraging samples to drive patient recommendations and retail sell-through.
- Maintain a minimum call average of 45 dermatology healthcare professional calls per week, including calls to physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
- Create and implement optimal field routing to achieve 90% reach to 175 targets.
- Analyze and control expenditures to meet budgetary requirements.
- Organize and schedule tasks, develop strategies and goals, and present action plans to the Regional Director.
- Coordinate special events, such as speaker programs, lunches, or dinners, to educate dermatologists about products and clinical studies.
- Monitor and report market intelligence.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in medical or pharmaceuticals.
- Residency within the territory's boundaries.
- Proven success in promoting goods, services, and concepts.
- Ability to self-manage and work autonomously.
- Strong technical/clinical aptitude and analytical/business acumen.
- Proven ability to build professional relationships through strong interpersonal and communication skills and consistent follow-through.
- Strategic thinking and creativity.
- Ability to adapt swiftly to a changing environment to meet unexpected needs.
- Proficiency in computer, CRM, and software skills, including Excel.
- Valid, clean driver's license.
- Willingness to travel 30% or more, including overnight stays, for tradeshows and company meetings.
- College degree.
- Dermatology experience.
