Summary:
In partnership with the Creative and Marketing functions, the Digital Director will build the brief for the digital elements needed for all consumer and pro touch points (social, salon windows, website, e retail, pack shots, media banners A e-commerce etc.). They will be responsible for defining the strategy and messaging for digital communication for the portfolio as well as key launches. Another area of focus will include the roll out that strategy and messaging to all pro and consumer touch points. They will also be accountable for managing the master ICC calendar to ensure all content needs are met for my category and evergreen needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Guide and direct digital shoot calendar
- Work with the cross-functional team members to deliver assets to support all digital activations
- Own social media publishing calendar
- Guide social community managers on management of community and publishing content
- Own the SEO/authored content strategy and coordinate with Digital Innovation on website calendar planning, page publishing, and SEO opportunities
- Support the brand through digital intelligence in support of professional and consumer engagement
- Define 360 digital launch strategy
- Develop campaign strategies in support of my category and share with countries for execution
- Provide regular reporting of digital touchpoint performance
Job Requirements
• 7 years of experience in a communications, online, or digital/marketing media role • Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with content creation, photo shoots and analytics required
- Strong understanding and interest in digital and communication industry C1
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Programs
- Expert in use of social tools to establish and measure KPIs and ensure continuous reporting on progress and optimization of strategic social initiatives
- Detail-oriented; ability to work on complex digital projects with multiple touch-points and integrations
- Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
- Entrepreneurial spirit and results-driven thinker, who thrives in an environment where new ideas are championed
- Knowledge of CMO and brand priorities & strategy
- Understanding of social influencers and community management
- Platform requirements and best practices
- Possesses key growth drivers and competitive levers
Salary Range: $128,400- $175,000 plus bonus
