We are looking for entry level or experienced production operators to work at our Plant 4 location. We are a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing company, located in Blissfield, Michigan.

STARTING RATE: $13.00/hr +.75/hr Shift Premium

Candidates will be responsible for the following job duties/functions:
- Operates a variety of production machines
- Follows written work instructions and operator inspection sheets to determine production requirements and part specifications
- Monitor production machinery for proper operation; troubleshoot and/or report problems to supervisor
- Inspects parts visually for quality defects, such as open welds / part length and appearance (dents, scratches, burrs, etc.)
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance on production machines
- Packs production parts
- Keeps work area clean and orderly
- Operates production machines in accordance with MIOSHA standards and Company procedures by using required safety equipment such as safety glasses / shoes, earplugs, sleeves, gloves, etc.
- Other job duties / functions may be assigned
Job Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education and/or Experience
High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production reports, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read, write and comprehend simple business correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively communicate information to co-workers or customers in both one-on-one and small group situations.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Business Judgment
Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner. Able to apply common sense understanding and use appropriate judgment in routine business situations with supervisor, co-workers and customers.
